Society Meetings

Society meetings are normally held on the second Friday of each month from September to July and are free for members. Visitors are very welcome (£2 at the door).

Perseid Meteors Observing and BBQ
At the Wembury Beach car park (map on the Join us page)
8.00pm onwards for the BBQ and it gets dark about 9.30pm.
Please bring your own portable/disposable BBQs and food and drink.

Friday 13th September 2019
Talks:     The Beginnings of the Space Age, by Prof. David Southwood CBE. David is the Patron of our Society. He is currently Chair of the UK Space Agency Steering Board and was President of the Royal Astronomical Society from 2012 – 2014.
